Agreement to Terms

These Terms and Conditions govern all trips operated by Triplio. Where any specific trip page, confirmation email, or written communication from Triplio contains terms that differ from these general Terms, those specific terms shall take precedence for that trip only.

Triplio reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. The version in effect at the time of your booking confirmation shall apply to your booking.

Eligibility

• You must be 18 years of age or older to book a Triplio trip independently
• Travellers aged 16 to 17 may participate only with a signed parental or guardian consent form submitted to Triplio at least 7 days before departure
• Travellers under 16 are not permitted on any Triplio trip
• By booking, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and that you are legally capable of entering into this agreement

Booking & Payment

• A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of the advance deposit and a written confirmation from Triplio via WhatsApp or email
• Full payment of the balance must be completed by the due date specified in your confirmation (typically 15 days before departure)
• Triplio reserves the right to release your seat without refund of the deposit if the balance is not paid by the due date
• All prices are quoted in Indian Rupees and are inclusive of GST unless otherwise stated
• Triplio reserves the right to correct any pricing errors on the website. If a significant error affects your booking, we will notify you and offer the option to pay the correct price or cancel with a full refund

Code of Conduct

Mandatory Standards of Behaviour

• Treat all fellow travellers, trip leads, accommodation staff, and local community members with respect and courtesy at all times
• Any form of harassment — verbal, physical, or sexual — directed at any person is strictly prohibited
• Discrimination based on gender, religion, caste, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or any other ground is strictly prohibited
• Wilful damage to accommodation, vehicles, or natural environments is prohibited and will result in financial liability for repair or replacement
• Alcohol is prohibited in all Triplio vehicles during transit
• Use of illegal substances is prohibited at all times on all Triplio trips
• Travellers must follow the reasonable instructions of the trip lead regarding safety, timing, and group management

Health, Safety & Risk

• You confirm that you are in good physical and mental health and are capable of participating in the activities included in your chosen trip
• You must disclose any medical condition, allergy, or physical limitation that may affect your safety or the safety of others at the time of booking
• Triplio strongly recommends that all travellers carry comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellation, and personal belongings
• Adventure activities including trekking, rafting, and safari involve inherent risks. By booking, you acknowledge and accept these risks
• Triplio, its employees, and trip leads shall not be liable for any injury, illness, death, loss, or damage arising from your participation in trip activities, except in cases of proven gross negligence by Triplio
• In the event of a medical emergency, the trip lead may take any action deemed necessary for your safety. All associated costs are your responsibility

Itinerary Changes & Force Majeure

• All itineraries are subject to change due to weather, road conditions, government restrictions, or other circumstances beyond Triplio’s control
• Triplio shall not be liable for any loss, expense, or disappointment resulting from itinerary changes caused by force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, floods, landslides, road closures, strikes, pandemics, or civil unrest
• In such cases, Triplio will make every reasonable effort to provide an alternative experience of comparable value
• Delays in departure or arrival times are not grounds for any refund or compensation

Liability & Indemnity

• Triplio acts as a trip organiser and is not a transport company, hotel, or insurance provider. Triplio is not responsible for the acts or omissions of third-party transport operators, accommodation providers, or activity operators, though we will always act in your best interest to resolve issues
• To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Triplio’s total liability to you in connection with any trip shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for that trip
• You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Triplio, its directors, employees, and trip leads against any claim, liability, or expense arising from your breach of these Terms, your misconduct, or your failure to disclose relevant medical information

Media Consent

Triplio may take photographs and videos during trips for use in marketing materials, social media, and website content. By participating in a Triplio trip, you grant Triplio a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use such content featuring you in connection with Triplio’s business.

If you do not wish to appear in any Triplio marketing materials, you must inform the trip lead in writing on Day 1 of your trip. This opt-out will be respected on a best-efforts basis for future content but cannot apply to content already published.

Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with a Triplio trip or these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably through direct communication with Triplio management.

If a dispute cannot be resolved amicably within 30 days of written notice, it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Delhi, India.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws in India.
